an agent that only lives in a private thread misses half of where plans get made. yours can sit in a group, answer the room, and still be unmistakably yours.

how do i add it to a group?

in your private chat with your agent, send /connectgroup. it replies with a one-time code. add the bot to the group as you would any member, paste the code into the group once, and the room is bound to you. the code is short enough to read aloud to a friend and expires on its own; asking for a fresh one cancels the old one, and a wrong, used or expired code gets the same polite answer whoever sent it, so nobody can learn anything by guessing.

what does it read in a room?

what it is sent, and what it is mentioned in. it does not read the rest of the room's conversation: that is a setting on the bot itself, not a promise we make on the fly, and for a bot you created in Telegram it is your setting to keep. so a room can talk around your agent for an hour and it will have seen none of it; the moment someone addresses it, it sees that.

who does it answer?

anyone in the room who addresses it, in the room, for the room. it is the same agent, with your memory of it, but it answers as a member of the group rather than as you: it does not sign your name, it does not pretend to be you, and it does not carry a private matter of yours into a room. if a question in a group needs something only you told it in private, it says it will take that up with you privately.

what does it remember from a room?

what the room told it, kept with the room. a group's context is its own, so a plan made in your family chat does not leak into your work chat and neither leaks into your private thread unless you bring it there yourself. your memory of your agent stays yours; the room gets a memory of the room.

does the room know it is a bot?

yes, on sight: it is a bot account, marked as one by Telegram, present and visibly useful. we do not add a joining announcement or ask the room for consent; the bot being a bot, in the open, is the disclosure.

what will it not do in a group?

spend, trade or book from a room. those doors open only in your private thread, where your approval is yours alone; a stranger in a group cannot tap approve on your money. it will also not moderate, kick, or change the group; it is a member, not an admin.

what is switched on today?

the group rail is on: binding a room with a code, answering in it, and keeping room memory apart. it is Telegram only today; when the same works in other channels this page says so.
